Structure

  • EWI is a membership organization.

  • EWI is organized into Chapters that are located in major cities located throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

  • The leading firms in a city make up the Chapter.

  • Membership is by invitation only to non-competing firms.

  • Membership is held by the firm . . . not by the executive or the representative.

  • The leading executive holds the "executive category."  He/she selects a key woman in an executive or administrative capacity as the firm's representative.

  • The firm may have one representative and one additional representative.

  • Firms are classified by a major and minor classification for their business and their main activity.

  • Chapters are limited to 101 firms (patterned after the Rotary Club).

  • An opportunity to recognize a top-ranking woman within the firm by appointing her to represent the firm.

  • In addition to the above, the firm will also be the direct beneficiary of the all the benefits accruing to their representative through her Chapter involvement.
